NEET PG Counselling 2025 — Live Guide

NEET PG Counselling 2025: Where (and How) to Check the MCC Schedule

Updated: 22 Sep 2025 (IST) • Source: MCC official website & recent advisories

Status: MCC has not released the NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule yet. The official link will go live on mcc.nic.in when announced.

How to check the schedule the minute it drops

  1. Go to mcc.nic.in.
  2. Click PG Medical Counselling → look for “Schedule” / “Information Bulletin” in Latest News or Current Events.
  3. Open the Schedule PDF and note: registration window, fee payment cut-off, choice filling/locking, allotment processing dates, result publication, and reporting/joining deadlines.
  4. Download/print the PDF and set phone reminders for each deadline.
Direct official pages (bookmark):

If a page shows last year’s (2024) notices, the 2025 PDF isn’t out yet. Check again later the same day.

What the MCC schedule usually includes

  • Registration & fee payment window (AIQ/Deemed/Central Universities/AFMS seats).
  • Choice filling & locking start/stop times.
  • Seat allotment processing and Round result dates.
  • Reporting/joining deadline at allotted college (physical/online reporting rules).
  • Next rounds timeline: Round 2 → Round 3 → Stray Vacancy.

Rounds at a glance (AIQ PG)

RoundWhat happensTypical notes
Round 1 Register, pay fee, fill & lock choices → allotment → report/join. Free-exit rules & bond/refund policies are in the bulletin—read carefully.
Round 2 No new registration (usually), fresh choice filling for eligible pool. Joined candidates often cannot resign after a certain cutoff—watch the PDF.
Round 3 Further seat movement; fresh choices; upgraded/converted seats. Category/seat conversions may apply as per matrix.
Stray Vacancy Last chance seats; shortlist drawn by MCC; limited actions allowed. Strict rules—no free exit; report exactly as instructed.
Important: Follow one valid application/registration on MCC only. Multiple or duplicate registrations can lead to cancellation/debarment. Also, candidates who violate join/report rules in earlier rounds have been debarred in past cycles. Always read the year’s information bulletin before you click submit.

Documents to keep ready

  • NEET-PG 2025 result/scorecard & admit card
  • MBBS marksheets, Attempt/Internship completion, Provisional/Original degree
  • Permanent/Provisional State Medical Council registration
  • Identity (Aadhaar/Passport), Category/EWS certificates (as applicable, in MCC format)
  • Disability (PwD) certificate from designated centers (if applicable)
  • Class 10 DOB proof, recent photos, and same phone/email used in application

State vs MCC (quick clarity)

MCC handles AIQ 50% + Deemed/Central Universities + AFMS. States run their own PG counselling for state quota seats on separate portals (e.g., tnmedicalselection.net for TN). Your timeline may include both MCC and your state board—track each separately.

Bottom line

Until the PDF appears on mcc.nic.in, ignore rumors. Once it’s live, move fast: register, lock choices on time, and read the bulletin’s do’s & don’ts to avoid debarment or fee loss.
